Original content of this post taken down since it was a bit too snarky, even for my tastes!
Turns out I wasn’t able to attend, but it was cool following their blog. They’ve picked an interesting space, and one that could use some help.
Shanti A. Braford blogs here.
If you really want to know, just read this.

hello Shanti, i was the one the suggested this idea, i think you miss understood me, let me try to explain my self better.
lets say you have a site (blog) that gets around 200 users a day and i have a site that gets around as much a day and we both united by basically advertising for each other via little tabs on the front page now multiply that by 20-25 times.
Alexa is only used to group sites together, so we can figure out what sites to group together.. for example sites that are around 100K get grouped together, and sites that are 50K gets grouped together.. etc.
Alexa was the measure to use, we dont have to use them as a measure, i was just trying to make a point (a bad one obviously)
i am writing to clarify my self, i suck at explaining so i am not blaming you for misunderstanding
i hate spamming, i surely didn’t intend it to be that.
if that’s still spamming then i am missing something.
have a good day.
thanks
good lord… my idea now is on spam.com
i hate spam and i would never approve of it.. my idea is posted all over the net now.
i honesty and sincerely thought my idea was in a private closed session at the Startup Weekend SF server.
Hey Monti - your idea was more about “gaming” as opposed to traditional email SPAM.
Still, the idea added nothing of value whatsoever to the world. It’s basically just a way to game Alexa stats by visiting one another’s sites.
In the industry the classic term for that is a “circle jerk”; porn sites use that technique to boost their traffic stats.
