The Art of Exotic Dancing

Friday, July 22nd, 2005

A friend of mine will be checking out The Art of Exotic Dancing classes.

Molly, 41? Mother of 4? Gee, from that picture, I’ll take two. (*kidding*)

I’ll have to report back after the classes, and let ya’ll know how they worked out for my special lady friend.

Of course… we all know who the real winner is when they take these classes. :)

Smoking the OS X Dope

Tuesday, July 19th, 2005

So… my new Mac Mini came in today.

I’ve been playing around the last few hours getting dualing LCD flatscreens setup (a la this article) using Synergy.

I’ve got Tiger OS X running on the left screen and Win XP on the right.

All I can say is… after taking just a few hits of the Tiger OS X dope, I’m hooked. :)

Programming Your Way out of a Paper Bag - PHP kitchen

PHP Kitchen on Programming Your Way out of a Paper Bag:

I really enjoyed Jeff Moore’s (creator of WACT) post today, I thought I’d post it in its entirety. It’s a compelling question, what is it that makes some programmers more adept than others? While this article is a good stab in the right direction, it still doesn’t shed sufficient light on the phenomenon where you have the programmer who is highly intelligent, considerably experienced, with a broad exposure to CS concepts but not a particularly good software maker.
